The soft chew delivery system serves as an ideal delivery method for children. The natural soft chew delivery system is non-abrasive and very easy to chew. Extremely easy to pinch into smaller pieces if needed. No fishy smell or taste. Children love the tart natural strawberry taste and fresh fruit smell.
** Animal Parade notes: This product is made by Nature’s Plus. This is a chewable tablet, which may be abrasive to young teeth. It takes 7 ½ tablets (13.3mg DHA per tablet) to get the same 100mg DHA as provided in one Brainy Kidz natural soft chew.
*** Omegalicious notes: This product is made by Rainbow Light. This is a gummy type product but it is much harder to chew than a normal gummy. Taste and smell are ok. Child must take 4 gummies to get 108mg DHA so compliance may be a problem.
† Coromega notes: This is an emulsion, which is a mixture of two liquids. Taste and texture may be a problem for many children. Product stability may be an issue. The use of Sodium Benzoate as a preservative is frowned upon in the natural products arena.
